THE VENUE
Ceremony & Reception Location
Spring Grove, ILThe Shores of Turtle Creek will host our ceremony and reception. They boast a 32 acre wooded area with ponds and wildlife. It is quite captivating. We hope you like it, as we are super stoked that they had an opening.
It's pretty easy to get to if you are traveling up for the wedding. For more information, you can check their facebook page or their website.
HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS
We have a block of rooms reserved at the
Hampton Inn
in McHenry, for those who are traveling from out of town. If you stay at the
Hampton Inn, there is also a complementary shuttle that we have reserved to
take you to and from the venue site. This will allow you to
fully enjoy the festivities and the open bar. If you would
like to stay elsewhere, check out these other local hotels.

We have our dishes and towels for two, pots and pans and a toaster too. Knives and forks and spoons galore, there isn't much room for anything more! So if for our wedding you'd like to bring us a gift, a check or cash would give us a lift. Perhaps you could help towards our honeymoon spends or where our home is in need of a mend. Please don't be offended at this type of request, as our day will be complete with you as our guest!
